About the Author
Christopher Paris wrote comic books for indie publishing houses in the 1990s, most notably Reverend Ablack: Adventures of the Antichrist for his imprint Starlight Comics Group and later Cry For Dawn. He led the Small Press Syndicate, teaching young comic book fans how to make their own comics, and attended many comic book conventions in the 1990s. His political satire podcast The Mark Spittle Show, in which Paris played a fictional would-be dictator, went viral after conservative media thought it was real. His nonfiction reporting and commentary have appeared in the Washington Post, Japan Today, Quality Business Australia, Cyber Defense Magazine, MarketWatch, and Reuters.
In the 2000s, Paris became a successful aerospace industry consultant. He helped build quality management systems for SpaceX, Starlink, Piper Aircraft, and other private space industry companies. His consulting company, Oxebridge, has offices on four continents and has over 250,000 followers on LinkedIn.
Paris has written a number of nonfiction quality management books, including Surviving ISO 9001 and Surviving AS9100, as well as the parody standard Eyesore 9000. His cartoon strip, THE AUDITOR, has run for five years and has over 600 strips so far. Paris wrote satirical wine reviews for the website Winepisser.
With DR. CUBA, Paris returns to fiction writing with a series of New Pulp novels inspired by the silent era’s classic horror and crime films.
Paris is a fan of classic cinema, science fiction, and the occult. He is an aficionado of wine and vintage pipe smoking, and has an uncanny knowledge of contemporary K-pop and Godzilla films.
